I hope everyone is having a great Christmas so far. Seeing as this is Christmas day, this post will be short and not proofread. I just wanted to test out making a blog post using my new Kindle Fire (Amazon) and WordPress.
So, far it seems very easy to type with this touchscreen. Fast response time and the larger screen compared to my smartphone make it simple to pick the correct letters. It seems blotting on the go will be possible for me, which didn’t seem feasible with my HTC Desire small screen, prone to freezing up and eating through batteries phone. This is all typing with two thumbs and it happens quick!
This will be a great tool for making use of downtime on the road for posting to EGVU.com, but I have already found 1 big negative to the Kindle Fire… The Amazon App store isn’t available to Amazon accounts outside the US. Hopefully, this gets changed soon because I’d like to be able to take full advantage of all that this Kindle can do.
Keep in mind I’ve only had this device for an hour or two so this is more some first impressions than a full review of the Kindle Fire.
Now, it’s time to get back to Christmas! Have a safe holiday season.
Very nice I bought m wife a new Kobo Vox e-reader ,For x-mas . She loves it!
Took her a few days to get used to facebooking and such.
Maybe she will leave my laptop alone soon… H-ha .
